Beginner anal plug
Start small. Then smaller than that.
Suits: Tried a little
Usually costs: Least
Why this one
A plug is not about depth or size. It is about pressure, and about what that pressure does to everything else happening at the same time — which is why the ones worn during ordinary sex are the ones that get used twice. A graduated set costs less than one decent vibrator and settles the question of size for you.
What to look for
- A flared base, wider than any other part of it. This is not a preference; it is the entire safety design of the object.
- A set of three sizes rather than one, with the smallest genuinely smaller than a finger.
- Seamless silicone. A moulding line is precisely what you do not want dragged anywhere.
Before you buy
There is no natural lubrication here at all. Use far more than feels sensible, and add more as you go — thick water-based lubricant exists for exactly this. Pain is a stop signal, not a stage to push through.
